Inside My Art Journal
Since I was a little girl I had a love for collages. I would collect books, magazines, newspapers, or any random tickets or scraps to use. These pages are a mixture of poetry for expression, art for clearing my head, or pieces of a trip or memory to keep close. I’ve made about 6 of these journals over the years.
Art Slides
It all begins with an one box I found at a small thrift store in Conroe, Tx. This metal box was filled with art slides from museum paintings from a NYC library. There were over 300 slides and I loved looking at them through the light in my room-taking the time to hold up each slide. Flash forward to now, I have purchased slides anytime I find them and now have over 1,000 from all over. I also invested in a Kodak projector for my home to finally enjoy them in a larger than life setting.
